With God on Our Side

Is it wrong that I am not at all saddened by the sudden death of Jerry Falwell, and, in fact, may even be a little bit hopeful that nobody will pick up the reins (or reign) of his evil empire of neo-con religious zealots?

I thanked G-d, but Mom told me to shut it. I don't know why I should shed a single tear for a man so full of himself that he didn't have an drop of what I consider real Christian charity, let alone compassion.

I'm not even ashamed to say I felt...pleasure. Ding dong, I thought. Followed only by the slightest hope that he'd been right all along; that there was a god. And boy, was he pissed... :)
